Further to an earlier article, Bristol Sound Systems has just completed (23rd November) an upgrade to the audio system in church.

The original one was installed at the time of the re-ordering in 2009 and technology has moved on since then.

The work includes additional speakers which will improve the “surround sound” and the loop system.

Sunday 24th November was the first test of the installation and many people commented on good the system was. The extra speakers brought a new clarity to the audio and the leader, Trevor Cook, was wearing a head microphone, so when his head turned the mike went with him, meaning no diminishing of sound. All in all a great success.
